firstly it was it's appearance

perfectly ordinary in every way except when the light shone on it

in the light it would shimmer faintly
#
the air vibrating around it as it lays
#
a soft warmth in your hand
#
but when you try to capture a pokemon with it

you're surprised to see it's blinking full
#
when you know for a fact it's empty
#
it wont open
#
like it's waiting for something

for what or who you can only wonder
